Service knowledge

Six coordination categories.

Service 01

Executive Health Journey

Typical inquiry

You would like to explore a comprehensive health assessment, targeted screening or specialist consultations while planning a visit to China.

Coordination scope

AN can help coordinate provider introductions, appointments, English-language record organization and the timing of your travel.

Clinical boundary

Clinicians determine which assessments are appropriate and interpret all results. More testing is not automatically better care.

Service 02

Dental Care

Typical inquiry

You are considering a dental examination, restorative care or an implant consultation and want to understand the available next steps.

Coordination scope

AN can help with dental-provider introductions, appointments, available pricing information and travel coordination.

Clinical boundary

Dentists determine treatment plans, clinical suitability and the number and timing of visits. AN does not recommend a treatment.

Service 03

Eye Care

Typical inquiry

You would like an eye-health examination, specialist assessment or consultation about a possible treatment.

Coordination scope

AN can help coordinate eye-examination appointments, specialist assessments and treatment consultations.

Clinical boundary

Ophthalmologists determine diagnosis, treatment and surgical suitability. An inquiry does not imply that surgery is appropriate.

Service 04

Nuclear Medicine

Typical inquiry

A treating clinician has identified a potential need for PET/CT or another nuclear-medicine service and you need help navigating appointments.

Coordination scope

AN can help identify relevant resources and coordinate scheduling for indicated imaging and associated specialist assessments.

Clinical boundary

These services require physician-led clinical justification. PET/CT is not presented as routine screening or a required part of a health assessment.

Provider verification reference

Questions before
a proposal.

Use these questions to structure coordination. This checklist is a sample workflow, not evidence that a particular provider has been checked or approved.

  • Confirm provider identity, relevant licensing information and the service being discussed.
  • Clarify who makes clinical-suitability decisions and what prerequisites apply.
  • Check appointment availability, visit sequence and follow-up requirements.
  • Request available estimates and distinguish clinical fees from coordination and travel.
  • Ask about English-language information, records and communication arrangements.
  • Confirm relevant billing and insurance requirements directly with provider and insurer.
  • Record the source, date and any unanswered questions before sharing a proposal.

Coordination reference

One process, five stages.

01

Inquiry: capture goals, location and travel timing without collecting records.

02

Initial assessment: clarify coordination scope and free or paid next steps.

03

Provider verification and proposal: document resources, questions and available estimates.

04

Booking and China-side coordination: organize confirmed appointments and practical timing.

05

Post-travel records and follow-up: organize available information and provider connections.

What does AN do?

AN provides non-clinical healthcare navigation and coordination for people exploring care in China. This can include provider introductions, appointments, available cost information, travel timing and record organization. Licensed healthcare providers make all clinical decisions.

How do the free consultation and $49 assessment differ?

The free consultation is an opportunity to discuss your goals and ask about the coordination process. The US$49 assessment is a paid next step for reviewing your coordination needs. Confirm its scope and applicable terms with AN before purchasing. Neither is a medical consultation or diagnosis.

Can AN recommend a treatment or tell me if I need a procedure?

No. AN does not diagnose, prescribe or make treatment decisions. Your treating clinicians determine the need for tests, procedures and follow-up, including whether you are suitable for surgery.

Will my insurance cover care in China?

Coverage depends on your plan, provider and circumstances. AN can help seek verification, but cannot guarantee coverage, direct billing or reimbursement. Confirm benefits, exclusions, prior authorization and any claim requirements with your insurer before committing.

Is PET/CT part of a routine health assessment?

No. PET/CT and other nuclear-medicine services require physician-led clinical justification. They are not routine screening requirements or automatic components of an Executive Health Journey.

How are costs explained?

Ask for available provider estimates and a clear explanation of any AN coordination fees. Clinical charges, travel and accommodation may be separate. Estimates can change when a provider evaluates your needs; confirm final terms directly before agreeing to services.

Can you help plan appointments around my trip?

AN can help coordinate appointment timing and China-side travel logistics. Confirm provider availability, clinical prerequisites and any follow-up visit needs before finalizing travel arrangements.

What happens after I return home?

AN can help organize available records and navigate follow-up connections. Ongoing medical care and interpretation of results remain with your healthcare providers. Discuss a follow-up plan with them before your trip ends.

Should I upload my medical records?

No. Standard website forms do not accept medical records, scans or laboratory reports. Share only a brief description of the coordination help you need, and avoid detailed medical information in the form.

Does AN guarantee results?

No. AN does not promise treatment outcomes, weight loss or the effectiveness of any service. Discuss expected benefits, risks and alternatives with the licensed provider responsible for your care.
